Building a skilled leadership group – Webinar

It can be difficult for community groups to maintain and foster strong leadership teams and having the right mix of suitably skilled and qualified people on committees can be a critical long-term success factor.

I recently joined FRRR CEO, Alexandra Gartmann, and Victorian Community Leadership Program Secretariat, Katrina Baddely, to discuss a scan of rural leadership programs that I undertook on behalf of FRRR.

The webinar provided practical tips about developing a skilled leadership team and What are the critical success factors for Rural Leadership programs?information about the leadership development programs available to community members across rural, regional and remote Australia.

The session covered:

  • How to determine the right leadership mix
  • What leadership programs and opportunities are available
  • How to translate leadership into action.

You can see a full summary of the leadership webinar via the FRRR website.
PS – here are some extra resources to help build your skills and confidence in working with groups
