It can be difficult for community groups to maintain and foster strong leadership teams and having the right mix of suitably skilled and qualified people on committees can be a critical long-term success factor.
I recently joined FRRR CEO, Alexandra Gartmann, and Victorian Community Leadership Program Secretariat, Katrina Baddely, to discuss a scan of rural leadership programs that I undertook on behalf of FRRR.
The webinar provided practical tips about developing a skilled leadership team and information about the leadership development programs available to community members across rural, regional and remote Australia.
The session covered:
- How to determine the right leadership mix
- What leadership programs and opportunities are available
- How to translate leadership into action.
You can see a full summary of the leadership webinar via the FRRR website.
