Facilitation tips from the IAF conference

Greetings from magnificent Melbourne! I’m here for the International Association of Facilitators conference,  being held at the historic Melbourne Town Hall. So why should this interest you? Well stick around for the next few days and you’ll get an ‘evening insight’ from the sessions I attend.

We’ll kick off with some reflections on a full day session with experienced Canadian facilitator, Dorothy Strachan. The workshop focuses on ‘designing complex facilitation events.’ This will provide a stepwise approach to dealing with the project, the process and the people! So you’ll be able to get some top tips from the day without even having to leave your desk!

Dorothy also has a few books out – so I’ll be able to point you in the direction of which ones to buy and where to get them from.
