    I thought this was very good, especially the note about putting yourself in their shoes, and encouraging proponents to organize.

        And a bit more on ‘putting yourself in other peoples shoes’. As a facilitator involved in community engagement, doing this helps keep me focused on maintaining a neutral stance – it’s one area I have to be ultra-clear on, especially if dealing with a ‘hot’ topic
